Hi everyone! Felt the need to to update my journal since the other one's been there too long again; I'll try to update more frequently if anyone actually reads these ;w; But anyway, since I'm on spring break now and I have a little time I figured I'd ask you guys for some advice if any of you have any kind of experience with this kind of thing (cough cough Stella I'm looking at you)
I haven't told anyone outside of my immediate family and maybe one or two close friends, but at the end of April (28th/29th) I'm going to be going blonde while my friend is going to dye her hair pink; it's not the first time I'll have dyed/bleached my hair, and I'm going to have a friend who's a hairdresser helping out too, but since my hair is dark brown/practically black I just wanted to know if anyone had any advice on how to keep from well, completely destroying my hair, and if anyone has any experience with using toners. >>;;
If not then that's okay~
In other news commission work has been slow but are still open, just as requests and art-trades are too, but if anyone knows anyone that's looking for commissions, I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd send them my way ;w; Aside from a couple of personal projects that I'm working on that I intend on finishing before the end of the school year (a coloring book and something of a children's book for two of my teachers) I'd like to get back to developing my style and portfolio despite that art probably won't end up being my career choice.
I know that I don't quite post much about this anymore, but I'd just like to share with you all that I'll be graduating high school on May 31st~ I also got accepted to every school that I applied to (FIU/FSU/UCF), and I will be attending Florida International University in the fall with a 100% tuituion renewable scholarship, so I'll be getting paid to go to school as a reward for all the work I've put into my education thus far c: I'm not quite sure what my major is going to be (for the moment it's set for psychology), but I may just end up dual majoring if the school is paying for it anyway, so that I can pursue something "legitimate", as my parents like to call it, and something on the more creative side too.
I hope you're all doing well though, happy March c: <3
